In the second image where we graph the sp2 hybridization, I'm not quite sure how exactly these "orbitals" take their positions on the graph. I think hw #3 problem 8 is similar to the graph here, but I obtain values in the reverse of what we did in class (as in, I find sqrt(1/3)*Psi2r + sqrt(2/3)*Psi2x on the positive x-axis (versus the negative x-axis) and the other wavefunction mix of Psi2r, Psi2x, and Psi2y in the second quadrant of my graph (versus the fourth quadrant found in class)).
